Spring Break Historical Classes!


March 19 - 22, 2013

TAKE & MAKE

Historical Crafts

10:00am - 2:00pm daily

 

Tuesday- For Our Feathered Friends: Make pine cone bird feeders. Hand out information about Oklahoma birds.

Wednesday- Old Time Toys: Make a rag doll or paint a wooden car. Hand out information about historical toys.

Thursday- Your Family Tree: Create your family tree. (I bought kid friendly ‘kits’.) Maybe hand out genealogy information?

Friday- Make your life Sandy!: Make colorful sand bottles. Each color will represent something/someone special in their life. Example: Green= Soccer, Pink=Mom.  


These FREE educational crafts will be available for visitors to enjoy.

The craft tables will be available 10:00 am - 2:00 pm daily.

Museum staff will be on-hand to assist with the projects, but children should be accompanied by a parent for these activities.
