Dear Friend of History:
Memory……is the diary that we all carry about with us. ~ Oscar Wilde
The Edmond Historical Society is a local, established organization that values memories, history and heritage while looking to the future. Now in its 25th year of service to the community, the Edmond Historical Society was created in 1983 with the mission of preserving and interpreting the history of Edmond. We are succeeding with this mission because of the vital support of our community and volunteers, as well as their collective memories of Edmond.
The Edmond Historical Society has a great year planned with the opening of the First Territorial School House for field trips and tours as well as our newly rennovated Children's Learning Center. We are hosting several different exhibits and programs throughout the year, check out our calendar of events.
We are a small museum but our goal is to maintain a high quality presence in Edmond. Your generous contribution will allow us to continue operation of a first rate museum for the community, increase programming and attain the primary goal of preserving the history of Edmond. Many of the services are offered at no cost to the public.
Please assist the Edmond Historical Society by sending in your contribution today! Please donate online by clicking on the giving page – annual campaign online giving form. Your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Thank you for helping to preserve the history of Edmond for future generations to come.
Sincerely,
Cameron Wilson
