A Revolutionary Tea

April 18 @ 11:00 am - April 19 @ 12:30 pm

A Revolutionary Tea:

Step into the year 1776 for an afternoon of lively conversation, refreshments, and spirited debate over one very controversial beverage! This immersive living-history experience will be held at the Historic Rodkey House (410 S. Littler) in Edmond.

Guests will enjoy tea, coffee, lemonade, sandwiches, and sweet treats while interacting with costumed interpreters who bring the tensions and humor of the Revolutionary period to life. After tea, the gathering will conclude with an opportunity to learn a simple time-period dance.

This program is designed as a shared experience and is suitable for ladies, gentlemen, and families alike. Children are welcome, but they must attend with an adult, as this is not a drop-off program.

Guests are encouraged to dress in 1776-inspired attire or tea party attire and come ready for an engaging afternoon of history brought to life.

A Revolutionary Tea will be held at the Historic Rodkey House, located at 410 S. Littler. Two sessions are available: Friday, April 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 per guest.
