Adult Only 1889 Territorial Schoolhouse Day

Experience history firsthand! Step into the past at the 1889 Territorial Schoolhouse and discover what a school day was like over a century ago. Normally reserved for student field trips, this immersive experience is now open to grown-ups eager to try their hand at slate writing, recitations, cyphering, and more.
Led by a living history actor (schoolmarm) in an authentic one-room classroom, participants will explore historic lessons, learn about 19th-century school rules and etiquette, and enjoy the charm (and challenge!) of an old-fashioned education. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, educator, or just curious—this is your chance to be the student for a day.
Space is limited and advance registration is required
