Exploring Edmond Walking Camp 2026
Discover the story of Edmond one step at a time at our Exploring Edmond Walking Camp, May 26–29 from 9am–4pm!
This drop-off summer camp is designed for ages 7–14 and takes campers on a daily adventure through downtown Edmond. Campers will explore historic buildings, public art, and the unique character of our community while learning how Edmond grew from a small railroad town into the vibrant city it is today.
Campers can expect to walk between 3–6 miles each day as they discover local history firsthand. Along the way, they’ll enjoy games, songs, and crafts inspired by what they’ve learned.
Each day includes lunch at a local Edmond restaurant (menu coming soon) and a daily snack. The $225 weekly fee covers all lunches and snacks. Families who register two or more campers will receive a discount.
Campers should dress comfortably and for the weather, wear tennis shoes, and bring a water bottle each day.
