Kyle Dillingham & Horseshoe Road: America’s Musical Ambassadors
Edmond History Museum & Museum is proud to present America’s first full exhibit dedicated to Kyle Dillingham, Peter Markes, and Bent Saulsbury. This exhibit explores the musical expression of these three performers through their lives, travels and vast repertoire of music.
Highlights of artifacts on loan include concert and tour memorabilia from Horseshoe Road, the first musical instrument of each of the band member, handwritten scores and recordings, Kyle’s purple performance suit designed by Manuel Cuevas, and the Dolly Parton skateboard Kyle rode onto the stage of the Grand Ole Opry.
Grand Opening Concert, April 30, 2022 at 4:30pm:
Limited tickets are available to attend the Grand Opening Concert, in which attendees will be the first to see the new exhibit. Kyle, Peter, and Brent will perform a live concert for the audience and share personal stories about the artifacts on display. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will include remarks by Dr. Bob Blackburn, retired director of the Oklahoma History Center.
