The Edmond History Museum houses the Research Library and Genealogical Center with over 5,000 books and periodicals, and microfilm of the “Edmond Sun” newspaper. Popular areas of local history in the library include Edmond High School and University of Central Oklahoma yearbooks, Edmond city directories, and an Edmond authors section.  Among other research materials, the Center also offers Edmond Grace Lawn Cemetery Records, local family histories, and vertical files of noteworthy local citizens and events. Genealogical volunteers from the Edmond Genealogical Society are available to assist with family research, by appointment, by calling (405) 340-0078.
