Volunteer Giving Tour

Generations connect at EHSM

The Edmond History museum’s volunteer training program covers the rich history of Edmond and general museum operations. The program educates and trains interested candidates for responsible volunteer positions with the Museum. A variety of volunteer opportunities are offered in the following areas:

  • Welcome Center
  • Library & Genealogical Research
  • Educational Programming
  • Museum Docent
  • Outreach Programming
  • Special Events
  • Office Support

The volunteer program includes an orientation session to better understand the selected position and general museum procedures.

Being an Edmond History museum volunteer affords you the great chance to enjoy a challenge, learn or update skills, meet new people with similar interests and most of all to have a fun time helping a worthy non-profit organization educate the public about the wonderful history of Edmond.

MEN, WOMEN, SENIOR ADULTS AND STUDENTS WELCOME

Shifts are Tuesdays through Friday 9:30a-1:30p and 1:30p-5:00p & Saturdays 12:30p-4:00p.
