Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, Superman, Black Panther, Batman! The list of comic book heroes can go on and on, but did you know some of the first…and best…comics were set in the wild frontier? Join us as we explore some of comic’s earliest heroes, like the Chisholm Kid, who rode the Chisholm Trail as the first African American featured in a weekly comic series. Then, become a comic artist! We’ll give all the tools you’ll need to help you imagine and draw your own comic strips!

Date: January 20th

Ages: 6 and up

Time: 8 to 12:30 PM (Half Day) –or– 8 to 5:30 PM (Full Day)

Cost: $20 for half day; $35 for full day. Snack provided. Full day participants will need to bring their own lunch.

Where: Drop-off and Pick-up at the museum at 431 S. Boulevard
