Celebrate Route 66 History & the opening of Stephenson Park in a big, blue HUMONGOUS way! Enjoy family-friendly activities, performances, artists and all things blue.

The Route 66 Blue Hippo Festival runs from 10:00-4:00, set up begins at 8:30am. Vendor locations will be placed throughout Stephenson Park.

It is requested that all vendors participate in the festival’s family-friendly themes of Hippos * Rout 66 * Edmond History * Color Blue by either:

  • Providing an educational game/activity/interactive that fits one of the themes (This can relate to your business or just provide fun, but avoid wet glue or paint)
  • Providing some merchandise that ties into the festival themes.
  • Agreeing to host a trivia question, as provided by the museum

 

Vendor Booths

Booth Space $50/day

Please note: A confirmation email with payment details will be sent upon application approval.

  • Booth is one 6-foot table (provided)
  • Add $15 for additional space or tables
  • Add $15 for a tent (10×10). You are welcome to bring your own
  • Add $15 to request electricity (limited availability)

 

Food Push-Carts (no food trucks)

$50/day (RSVP required)

Please note: A confirmation email with payment details will be sent upon application approval.

Only available to restaurants located at the  boundary of Stephenson Park.  Our goal is to push food opportunities that surround the park’s city block. Food carts will be located along 4th street (near the picnic area).

  • Add $15 to request one a 6-ft tables. You are welcome to bring your own
  • Add $15 for a tent (10×10). You are welcome to bring your own
  • Add $15 to request electricity (limited)

Please be mindful about generating trash, as trash cans and trash service is limited.

Note: Restaurants without a push cart are welcome to have a booth instead, where visitors can place orders that can then be run across the street or picked up across the street.

 

          

Museum Partner Booth

Booth Space $25/day (this is 1/2 price)

Non-Profit Booth

 Blue Cars (cool classics and showy moderns)

Space $0/day (RSVP required)

  • Only 22 parking spaces, so RSVP early
  • Each car will receive 1 slot (currently planned along 4th Street)
  • Shade trees and a shade tent will be available along the row
  • Please bring a lawn chair
