Important Update! These workshops have been postponed. If you registered, you will receive a full refund. Once a new date has been set, we will contact you so that you may register before the event goes live on the museum’s website.

Every day, a mechanical engineer invents another machine to help people or solve a problem. Women have played a major role in the history of mechanical engineering milestones, and a few of those women lived right here in Oklahoma! They have not always received the credit that is their due, but we are making up for that now!

Join the Edmond History Museum & Museum (EHSM), and members of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) as you earn all three of your Mechanical Engineering badges. Members of SWE will guide Scouts to completing their cool creations using the Design Thinking Process to solve problems like an engineer. You’ll also step back in time as you visit with women who are responsible for some of the most amazing engineering milestones in history. Fee includes: all materials, access to the Brain Booster Snack Bar, and all three badges!
