Covered Wagon Public Event

An authentic wagon from the 1889 Land Run is coming for a two-day visit to the Edmond History Museum & Museum! Visitors have two opportunities to view and climb inside the wagon for photographs on March 16 or 17. This event is sponsored by Bob and Kathy Thomas, with special thanks to Carol Anderson and Studio Z.
The public may visit the wagon from 2:00-4:00pm on March 16th or March 17th. A staff person will be on hand to share information and assist with taking photographs. Suggested donation is $2 per person. The wagon will be located outside at the historic Rodkey House at 410 S. Littler Ave, Edmond OK 73034, west of the museum at Stephenson Park. Note that visitors will need to be physically able to climb into the wagon without assistance. The Rodkey House from 1901 will also be available to tour during this time. Please wear masks while interacting with the staff.
